- The loan period for most books is 3 weeks. Patrons are allowed to renew their books twice (if the book has not been reserved by another patron).
- Popular Titles may be put on limited loan period of 14 days and are not renewable. (The book will be marked with sticker.)
- Magazines and Periodicals are loaned for 3 weeks and are not renewable.
- Items from the DVD collection may be checked out for 5 days for a rental fee of $2.00.DVDs are not renewable.
- Renewals may be made online, over the phone, or in person at the library. The patron's Library Card number is necessary to renew items at any time.
- Returns can be made 24 hours a day via the book-drop near the library's front door.

- A 30¢ per item per day fee is applied to all overdue items from the main collection.
- Overdue DVDs are fined $2.00 per item per day until they are returned.
- A non-refundable processing fee of $5.00 will be added to the cost of an item that has to be replaced because it was damaged or lost.
- The patron is responsible for the total cost any lost or damaged items that were checked out on their account.
